Most of my life I worked as a professional singer, a trained soprano, and I worked in cabaret and theatres. I have been married twice and have been a widow for the last two years.

I am on the committee of Clydesdale Housing Association RSL and also their management committee.

Donna Murray - Vice Chair

Peter Winnie - Secretary

I started community activities in 1997 by setting up a Tenant and Resident association. In cooperation with other groups a Coatbridge wide federation was then established. We then set up a North Lanarkshire wide Tenants and Residents Association. This has been a long and hard road. However, we have moved on considerably and now have a good working relationship with North Lanarkshire Council. I am also a member of Coatbridge Community Forum and the local area partnership.

David Abercrombie - website administrator

Much of my life has been spent as a volunteer. This has included fundraising for various causes as well as more practical ways such as reception/admin duties. I am also a trained walk leader and currently volunteer at my local Food Co-op.

I have been a member of my local tenants group since it began. This included a period as secretary. I am also a committee member and volunteer of a local group for the elderly.

In my spare time I enjoy bookcrossing, pastel painting, and bingo. I am also responsible for updating the East Dunbartonshire and Lanarkshire section of the Regional Networks website.

John Colquhoun

I have been involved in the tenants movement for over 20 years, initially I helped to start a tenants association in Kirkshaws in 1988. I was also one of the founder members of the Coatbridge Tenants and Residents Federation and more recently I have been involved in the setting up of the North Lanarkshire wide Federation. I have developed a good knowledge and involvement in both local and national issues. My main aim over the years is what can we do to support and empower tenants and residents.
