Eric Allan
Eric is the chair of the Northern Lights Regional Network and chair of Hazlehead Residents Association. He is a volunteer providing assistance in marketing of the Community Food Initiative North East (CFINE), to the general public and local businesses. He is a board member of Aberdeen Heat and Power Ltd, a not for profit company dedicated to reducing and eventually eradicating the impact of fuel poverty in Aberdeen.
Heather Anderson
Heather has been involved in tenant participation since 2000, and eight years in she is secretary of the Forres Area Tenants Forum and the Moray Tenants conference committee. Within the Moray Council, Heather attends best value meetings, the Tenant Participation Working Group, and is a member of the Council's Housing Sub Group.
Stanley Green MBE
Stanley has been an activist for many years. He is still currently treasurer of Thistle and Windmill Residents association (TAWRA). In the past he has been chairman of TAWRA and was a board member of Aberdeenshire Housing Partnership. He was elected to the regional committee to represent Aberdeenshire.
Diana Foxcroft
Diana has been the secretary for FRANRA for the past four years. She became interested in Tenant Participation after a day event in Aberdeen and is now a committed activist.
Helen McPherson
Helen has been a tenant activist for 15 years, and is totally committed to achieving the goal of tenants having a say on what goes on in their community. Her involvement with diverse groups provides her with the opportunity to network with tenants from all over Scotland, gathering information on their experiences. She is presently a member of the Community Voices Network (CVN). St Machar Parents Group, and the Northern Lights Network. She is a proud mother but admits that her family of two grown up children and three grandchildren keeps her firmly grounded.
Steve Christie
I have been involved in tenant participation since 2003 and I am currently the Chair of the Bilbohall Estate Forum incorporating Rothes. I am also Chair of Moray Tenants Core Group. Since becoming involved in tenant participation I have also been involved with organising the Moray Tenants Conference and been involved in various committees within Moray Council as a tenant representative. I have been involved with the Scottish Housing Best Value Network and have completed a number of local authority peer reviews for the network.
Linda McIntosh
I am a new member of Northern Lights regional network. I am the secretary of TRACC who are registered with Angus Council, Angus Housing Association, and Hillcrest Housing Association. I became interested in tenant participation after a member of the Tenant Information Service (TIS) spoke at one of our meetings last year.
Gregor McAbery
Gregor is the Chair of Ruthrieston Residents Association and Neighbourhood Watch in Aberdeen and is also involved in environmental and transport organisations including Friends of the Earth Aberdeen and Aberdeen City Environmental Forum. He is a director of various local and national charities including Aberdeen Greenspace, Healthy Roots, Grampian Neighbourhood Watch Association, and the sustainable transport campaign charity Transform Scotland.
