About Region 6
An inaugural annual general meeting in February 2008 was a key step in establishing the South West Scotland Regional Network.
The formation of tenant-led regional networks follows extensive consultation, and work over the last four years, to develop structures for tenant engagement with the Scottish Government on polices affecting their members’ homes and communities.
This is a new and demanding time for the tenants’ movement in Scotland.
The establishment of our network will give tenants and residents a united voice and the opportunity to meet with the Government face to face on matters which are important to us.

Hugh Wilson Frazer, MBE, has stepped down from Region 6 Committee. We would like to thank Hugh for all his hard work and dedication as Chair, Vice Chair and Secretary during his years on the South West Scotland Network, he will be missed.
