HRA Report

After Ministerial concern, around Tenant involvement and consultation in the HRA, Hugh McClung, HMc and Michael Boal of the Scottish Government did a consultation of RTO's about their experiences in this area.

A very low % of replies was received, and at the instigation of Anne Cook of the Scottish government, this survey was re-issued.

Some Authorities are complying well, others less so. A question on this will be part of the Ministerial meeting in November.

The Chair praised the TP team for their work in ensuring letters, emails etc were sent out to all involved.

Members wondered if TIS and TPAS could be helpful in talking to their members about this topic.

SHR

Members were advised of the Questions which would be asked at the meeting with SHR Liaison group, with George Walker and Michael Cameron.

There was discussion about engagement with the Regulator, should he come to Networks? are thematic studies useful? Members felt at least one meeting a year would be useful, and that the Regulator needed to hear a broad range of opinion.
